LL.D. Attorney-at-law Thai Trung Kien

Attorney-at-law. Thai Trung Kien graduated with a PhD in Law from Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University (France), after successfully defending his PhD thesis with the highest rank in the PhD system of France. He has more than 20 years of legal experience, of which, nearly 10 years working at the Supreme People’s Court and a prestigious law firm in Vietnam. After that, he has participated in the management of LAWPRO Law Firm until now. He has hold various roles, including legal counselor for investors; international commercial contract counselor and negotiator; counselor resolving disputes between businesses; defense attorney of the involved parties’ legitimate rights and interests.

LL.M. Attorney-at-law Le Thanh Kinh

Attorney-at-law. Le Thanh Kinh has extensive experience in the various roles, including: Defense attorney, CCIG Arbitrator (Switzerland); Attorney representing Leighton Company Limited (Australia) at the Court of Appeal of the Supreme People’s Court at Ho Chi Minh City on the recognition of foreign arbitration awards in Vietnam; Vietnamese law expert at SIAC (Singapore), South African International Arbitration. He is currently the Director of Le Nguyen Law Firm LLC and also acts as an Arbitrator at the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC). He has received various awards throughout his career, including: Lawyer of the Year – Vietnam Law Newspaper – Ministry of Justice, Law Office of the Year – Vietnam Law Newspaper – Ministry of Justice, Outstanding Arbitrator – VIAC, and Outstanding Law Firm voted by the Vietnam Bar Federation.

M.A Nguyen Dinh Phuc

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Phuc (M.A) is an expert and scientist with more than 10 years of research experience in the fields of public policy, political science, state and law. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Institute of Law and Social Studies and a PhD candidate in Public Administration at the National Academy of Public Administration.

M.S Do Duc Lan

Mr. Do Duc Lan (M.S) has participated in many activities related to the field of modernization and application of science in education such as: “Building a system of interactive augmented reality Math lessons for grades 1, 2, 6 and 10 according to the 2018 General Education Program”. He is also the coordinator of the project “Integrating learning through play into primary education” organized in collaboration with the RTI Research Institute – USA.

Dr. Le Thi Diem Hang

Dr. Le Thi Diem Hang is currently the Deputy Head of the Faculty of Criminal Law, Hanoi Law University. Dr Diem has many years of experience and has participated in many research as author, making practical contribution to the research and teaching in many fields of law. She is also the author of many scientific articles published in prestigious journals such as Journal of People’s Court, Journal of Legal Studies, etc.

Dr. Nguyen Bich Thao

Dr. Nguyen Bich Thao is the Head of the Faculty of Civil Law, University of Law – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in law from the Faculty of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and obtained her master’s degree and doctorate in law from the Dedman School of Law, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, USA. With her main teaching and research areas being civil law, intellectual property law, and civil procedure law, Dr. Nguyen Bich Thao’s recent research focuses on the impact of emerging technologies on private law. She is currently the co-director of the Research Project on Developing a Set of Principles and Guidelines for Responsible Artificial Intelligence Development in Vietnam. The Project is led by the University of Law – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on the order of the Aus4Innovation Program.

Prof.Dr. Vu Cong Giao

Prof. Vu Cong Giao is the only legal scholar receiving the Professorship in 2023. He always devotes himself to researching as well as teaching. With extensive and profound knowledge in human rights and civil rights, state governance and anti-corruption, Prof.Dr. Vu Cong Giao has conducted useful and practical research works on hot issues in which he has a lot of experience.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh is the former Principal of the University of Law – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She is currently the Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Civil Law, University of Law – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and also acts as an educational accreditor of the Ministry of Education and Training. Her areas of expertise are intellectual property law, civil law, law and technology, education law, and artificial intelligence ethics. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Que Anh has published many research papers and scientific reports at seminars, conferences, and forums related to intellectual property, responsible artificial intelligence, and the impact of artificial intelligence on the development of the legal system. She has chaired various national and ministerial-level projects and topics on research and training in the field of intellectual property. She is currently co-director of the Research Project on developing a set of principles and guidelines for responsible artificial intelligence development in Vietnam. The Project is led by the University of Law, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on the order of the Aus4Innovation Program.

Prof.Dr. Le Anh Vinh

 

In May 2010, Le Anh Vinh received his PhD degree from Harvard University at the age of 27. Successes continued when Dr. Le Anh Vinh was recognized as Associate Professor at the Erwin Schrodinger Institute for Mathematics and Physics (Vienna, Austria) and the Department of Mathematics at the University of Rochester (USA), which provided him with the opportunities to stay in the US for further research.

Since 2011, Prof.Dr. Vinh has been teaching at the University of Education – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, where he has been contributing and nurturing young talents in the field of mathematics.

In 2013, at the age of 30, he was the youngest person in Vietnam to receive the Associate Professorship.
